# How to upgrade the Firmware with an iPhone

#### In this guide, we'll run you through the steps on how to update your router to the latest firmware using your iPhone.

### Step 1

Head over to the latest downloads

Select the correct firmware according to your router. Either **Latest SpiderLite Router Firmware** or **Latest SpiderPRO Router Firmware.** Clicking on one of those two options will take you to our downloads page where you can download the firmware file by clicking on it. You may be asked to log in to your client area when downloading the firmware.

### Step 2

After clicking on the download link, click on **Download**.

### Step 3

Connect to SpiderVPN Wi-Fi and open <http://10.11.0.1/> on any browser. Tap the icon on the top left, click on **Settings/Help & Support,** and then proceed by clicking on **Update To Latest Software**.

### Step 4

Click on **Choose file,** and then click **Browse.**

### Step 5

Click on **Recents** and then click the downloaded firmware.

### Step 6

Select either Keep settings or Remove settings and hit **Submit**.

### Step 7

Wait patiently for **10-15 minutes** for the firmware to update. After that **connect** to SpiderVPN Wi-Fi.

### Step 8

Now go to <http://10.11.0.1/activation.php>

Enter the **same** login details you use in the [clientarea ](https://spidervpn.org/clientarea/login)and hit **Activate**.
